    Thomas Branigan Memorial Library introduces the new Climate Reads Book Club. The book club is part of a national community of readers and writers participating in a year-long reading and discussion of books shedding light on the climate crisis and environmental justice. The project was created by the Brooklyn Public Library and Writers Rebel NYC. Las Cruces will host a local discussion with the first being held on Zoom on Tuesday, September 29th at 6 p.m. The kickoff book for September is Octavia Butler’s "Parable of the Sower".
