    Animal lovers are invited to work with the museum's Living Collections Curator to learn about caring for all types of animals. Design a travelling habitat for the museum's reptiles, test frog water and learn about water quality, and meet animal rescuers in this workshop. Workshop is all four Saturday's in September. Public Art

  1. City Hall Art Selection

    Through a fair and open process, Las Cruces Public Art and the Art Selection Committee will be selecting for recommendation to Las Cruces City Council public art to be acquired by the City of Las Cruces. This public art piece will be placed and integrated into the architecture of Las Cruces City Hall. Three artist finalists will offer their concept presentations to create a site-specific indoor project to be designed for the central pillar in the lobby of Las Cruces City Hall. Finalists have been encouraged to submit vibrant and dynamic designs inspired by our local environment, history and cultures. Presentations will be open to public attendance between 1:15pm - 3:15pm, at City Hall, second floor, Room 2007A.
