    The City of Las Cruces Community Development Department has prepared a report of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) activities and status of funds for the period of July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. This report is known as the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report for the Program Year 2018 (2018 CAPER) and is required to be prepared and submitted to HUD by September 30, 2019. The 2018 CAPER will be available for public review beginning Friday, August 30, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Las Cruces City Hall, 700 N. Main St., Community Development Department, Suite 1100; the City Clerk’s office, 700 N. Main St., Suite 1200; the Branigan Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave., Las Cruces, NM. It will also be on the City’s website at www. under the Community Development Department (this page is ADA compliant for the visually impaired).

    Animal lovers are invited to work with the museum's Living Collections Curator to learn about caring for all types of animals. Design a travelling habitat for the museum's reptiles, test frog water and learn about water quality, and meet animal rescuers in this workshop. Workshop is all four Saturday's in September.
