"Junior Scientist: Rube Goldberg Challenge" Take-Home Winter Camp Kit

Winter Break Camp

The Museum of Nature & Science, 411 N. Main St., will offer a take-home “Winter Break Camp” kit in December.
Kits are free but require reservation by December 11. To reserve kits please contact or call 575/522-3120. Kits are available while supplies last.
Rube Goldberg machines are chain-reaction machines inspired by cartoonist Rube Goldberg who drew elaborate, whimsical designs that overcomplicate simple tasks. Using the six activities provided, a person will create their own unique Rube Goldberg machine. This take-home winter break camp kit is fun for the whole family and best suited for ages 11 to 17.
The Museum of Nature & Science is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The museum is accessible via RoadRUNNER Transit Route 1, Stop 1.
For information, visit the City’s Museums System website at: MUSEUMS | Las Cruces, NM ( or call 575/522-3120.
