Elizabeth Teeters

The City of Las Cruces has named Elizabeth Teeters as Economic Development Director. Teeters joined the City in 2018 shortly after moving to Las Cruces from Missouri. Her first position with the City was Policy Analyst for Administration. Teeters has been the Business Development Administrator in the City's Economic Development Department since February 2020.

"Elizabeth has been a valuable team member here at the City of Las Cruces, and based on her experience in economic development and her previous roles at the City of Las Cruces, she will thrive as Economic Development Director," said City Manager Ifo Pili. "We look forward to what she will bring to the City and supporting her and the department in their efforts to bring prosperity to our community."

Teeters' career background includes working for a Regional Planning Commission in Missouri, first as a County Economic Developer, then as the Executive Director. She has a bachelor's degree in Music Education from Ohio University, and a master's degree in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati.
