OBJECTIVE: To streamline communication between local government agencies during the COVID-19 response. Partner organizations include city and county representatives, local hospitals, the Department of Health, jail and prison facilities, first responders, the Las Cruces Public School district, the Town of Mesilla, City of Anthony, City of Sunland Park and Village of Hatch.  

JIC members collaborate on a weekly conference call at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays. The notes compiled during that call are made available at and

Dan Trujillo LCP/F has launched a social media campaign thanking health care workers.  Temp checks at secure door to LCP.  Lobby open on Monday and Thursday.

Town of Mesilla 

Dorothy Sellers Town Hall employees will begin teleworking starting Monday, November 23, 2020.  Town Hall, parks and Plaza are all closed.  

Memorial Medical Center Ryan Perkins  Work continues on a video in partnership with Mountain View RMC to alert community to use precaution during the upcoming holidays.  Also defining the difference between your household and extended family.

Ben Woods  Ben Woods thanked everyone for help with the “thank you healthcare workers” campaign.  Honk for healthcare at noon today in the Mountain View RMC parking lot.   

New Mexico State University 

Justin Bannister  NMSU campus is only open to students, faculty and staff.  Spring semester will be hybrid of online and on campus classes.
