As part of the City’s commitment to improve customer service, safety, and keep its facilities in proper shape, Facilities Management is utilizing in-house staff to clean the City Clerk (1200) and Public Information Office/Communication Office (1300) suites along with performing maintenance activities in Room 1310, and utilizing a local contractor to perform carpet replacement in that room.
Schedule of Activities is as follows:
· Room 1310 carpet removal. Thursday, August 27, and complete same day.
· Room 1310 maintenance. Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30.
· Suite 1200 and 1300 carpet cleaning and shampooing. Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30.
For your safety, please be aware the contractor will be using the City Council Chambers Southwest Doors to transport materials as well as moving them down the hallways. Otherwise, work will be confined to the areas noted above. Work will be scheduled to create the least inconvenience possible. Carpets should be dry on Monday morning.
