Bring your lunch and listen to an expert discuss a variety of topics related to local history and trains.

Join our education curator each month as we take an in-depth exploration into the stories behind one of the artifacts in the museum's collection.
Railroad Story Time
Currently paused due to Covid-19.
Starting January 2022
This monthly program connects, the science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics of railroad operations and history in fun, interactive, and informative programing.
Saturday October 30 10am-1pm at Museum Courtyard on Main Street.
The Railroad Museum booth will teach guests how to make their own beeswax candles perfect for Halloween or Autumn decorations.

Join us for fun holiday cheer with hot cider, holiday themed story time, arts and crafts, letter writing to Santa, and maybe a visit from Santa himself!

This year, in addition to model trains and historic re-enactments, railroad equipment, a variety of large vehicles from our partners at the City of Las Cruces - fire trucks, police vehicles, and heavy utilities equipment - will be on site for your enjoyment.
