The Traffic Engineering Section is responsible for the daily management and operation of the traffic flow along city streets within Las Cruces. This includes the installation and maintenance of traffic control signage, pavement markings, traffic calming devices, traffic signals/flashers, and roadway street lighting. The goal of the Traffic Engineering Section is to provide safe and efficient traffic flow along with being responsive to the needs of the citizens of Las Cruces.
