Contracts Administration

Sonoma at Northfork Arroyo

The goal of the Contracts Administration Section of the Public Works Department is to provide for accurate, cost effective, and high quality inspection and management of infrastructure for the City of Las Cruces.

The Contracts Administration Section administers construction and maintenance contracts and permits for roadway, utility, drainage systems, and traffic improvements within the city right-of-way and for roadways that the city will be responsible for maintaining. The project management and inspection teams are also responsible for the implementation of changes to construction contracts that are necessary for timely and cost effective completion of the roadway and utility infrastructure.
