Telegraphic orders from Governor McDonald of New Mexico
for guard mount at armory Las Cruces N.M March 10 1916.

Officer of the day March 10th Capt G.H. Totten

Officer of the day March 11th 2nd lieut. Edwin Holt

Office of the day March 12th 1st lieut Jesse Isacks

Guard will consist of one sergeant one musician and eight privates.

First sentries posted eight P.M. Guard dismissed six A.M.

One sentry posted at front of building and one at
rear. Each man to be issued 60 rounds ball cartridges. Senrties
to fill magazines of their pieces before going on post and to empty
them immediately upon leaving their posts. Chambers of rifles to
be carried empty.

No shot to be fired unless as a signal of imminant perril or in case sentry is attacked.
Sentries will challenge everyone approaching armory after nine P.M. and until six A.M.
