Woodhouse’s Toad

Size - 2.5 - 5 inches (6 - 12.7 cm).

Habitat and Range
- Found in sandy areas near marshes, irrigation ditches, backyards, and temporary rain pools from the east coast except Florida to the Rocky Mountains and adjacent Mexico.

Diet
- Insects.

Did you know?
- Primarily nocturnal.  It is occasionally active during the day, but typically remains in its burrow or hides in vegetation.
