Tours

The Branigan Cultural Center offers guided tours of the Las Cruces: Crossroads of History exhibit to groups.  Reservations are required for groups so that appropriate staffing is available to provide a quality museum experience.  Please complete the reservation request form and submit a minimum of two weeks in advance.

History Notes

Join others interested in local history to discuss various topics.  Presentations by staff, docents, and guest speakers.

Docents and volunteers are updated on events and activities of Branigan Cultural Center, programs focus on developing skills in guiding tours, lesson plans, and interpretation.

“Visit Our Ancestors”
Cemetery Tours

Every other month meet with staff from Branigan Cultural Center to tour cemeteries in the Mesilla Valley.  Participants will find familiar names of those whose legacy embodies the origins of Las Cruces and Mesilla Valley.  Allow for 2 hour walking tour, little or no seating, over often uneven terrain.  Program starts at 10:00 a.m. at the designated cemetery. There is no fee to participate.  Contact 541-2219
