Community Involvement
Keep
Las Cruces Beautiful focuses on the 3 E’s: Education
Eradication and Enforcement. Our program is dedicated to keeping
our city beautiful through litter and weed control; graffiti eradication
and prevention activities; community recycling efforts; and neighborhood
and community wide beautification projects. Community involvement
is a key component of our program empowering the citizens of Las
Cruces to take action in their neighborhoods. KLCB is a part
of the Codes Enforcement Division of the Las Cruces Police Department.

Keep Las Cruces Beautiful annual Trek for Trash!

Volunteer Celebration hosted by International House of Pancakes
- What: We are asking for your help in our annual Trek for Trash neighborhood cleanup and beautification. With the support of Las Cruces volunteers we are looking to remove litter and abate graffiti in local parks, schools, and neighborhoods.
- When: Saturday, October 16th , 2010
- 8:00am-12:00pm Cleanup
- Noon - 1:00 p.m. Volunteer celebration at Dream Center, 1400 N. 6th Street.
- Where: Locations requested or assigned around Las Cruces
- How can you help?We are asking for volunteers of all ages, all groups to lend a helping hand and beautify and cleanup Las Cruces in our annual Trek for Trash.
Volunteer Celebration: Immediately following the cleanup all volunteers are invited to the free lunch hosted by International House of Pancakes served at the Dream Center.

| Beautification and Cleanup |
KLCB works with numerous groups, neighborhood associations and community organizations to beautify and cleanup our neighborhoods during the year. KLCB provides tools, trash pick up, gloves and trash bags for groups. Contact us for more information.
