Have you ever wondered who provides the internal
support to the City of Las Cruces? Who maintains facilities and parks?
How technology is utilized to provide communications for emergency
services? Who keeps the City vehicles and equipment operating? Who
manages City-owned property?
The Facilities Department performs all these
duties largely unnoticed to ensure that City employees can complete
their duties and you can complete your daily interactions with the
City. The Facilities Department consists of 130 dedicated employees in
five different sections. These sections include Airport, Building
Services, Fleet Management, Parks Management, and Project Management.
