Summer Camp

Pre-registration is required for Summer Camps. Please register in-person at the Museum of Nature & Science Tuesdays - Saturdays, 10am - 4pm. You must register by 4pm on the Saturday prior to the beginning of the class.

Master of the Catwalk

June 4 - 8, 9:00am - 1:00pm • $90

Grades 6 - 8

Do you have what it takes to master the catwalk? Explore the engineering concepts behind building bridges as you learn the basics of bridge structure and design. Enjoy a field trip to the Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum to look at their historic bridge, before competing in a design challenge to build a bridge strong enough to hold a five-pound weight.

Crash Test Cars

June 11 - 15, 9:00am - 1:00pm • $70

Grades 3 - 5

Smash them! Crash them! Build a crash test car and keep a crash test (egg) dummy safe through the entire camp. Discover ways to make cars safer and more durable with daily crash scenarios that put every part of your car to the test!

Mad Science Lab

June 18 - 22, 9:00am - 1:00pm • $60

Grades 1 - 2

Take some chemistry and physics, add a dash of creativity, and you have the perfect formula for a mad scientist! Explore the world of physics, take a closer look at molecules and chemical reactions, explore the world of engineering using your own science creations with daily experiments and science challenges!

Paper Roller Coasters

July 9 - 13, 9:00am - 1:00pm • $70

Grades 3 - 5

Roller coasters are a marvelous feat of engineering that are enjoyed by many. Engineer your very own rollercoaster using many different design possibilities. Learn the exciting physics behind an all-time favorite at amusement parks and design your own paper roller coaster.

Put a Spark in It

July 16 - 20, 9:00am - 1:00pm • $60

Grades 1 - 2

Spark your interest in electrical engineering this summer. Explore circuits and how they work through hands-on experiments and activities. Experiment with circuit boards, construct a generator, and more!
