Watercolor Exhibit to be on Display in February at Railroad Museum 2019
The New Mexico Watercolor Society, Southern Chapter, invites the public to its watercolor exhibit “Toy Trains, Model Trains, Miniature Trains” at the Las Cruces Railroad Museum, 351 N. Mesilla St., from February 1 through March 2, 2019.
An opening reception will be at the Railroad Museum from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. February 1, during the First Friday Ramble. The reception is open to the public.
Various artists have created watercolor paintings depicting toy trains. These paintings will be on display at the Railroad Museum during “For the Love of Art Month” in February 2019.
Model trains have been popular to children of all ages for generations, in an endless variety of sizes and styles. From holiday traditions to year-round displays, come relive your childhood through the paintings of toy trains. Join us in our celebration of “For the Love of Toy Trains, Model Trains, Miniature Trains.”
