Mesilla Valley Pop-Up Exhibit to be on Display January 19, 2019

The Las Cruces Museum System will host a pop-up exhibit of the Mesilla Valley in the courtyard between the Museum of Art, 491 N. Main St., and the Branigan Cultural Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019.

A pop-up museum exhibit is a temporary exhibit created by you! The Museum System invites residents to bring photographs, documents, food recipes, and small objects that helps tell the story of the Mesilla Valley.

This pop up exhibit is part of “What’s your Las Cruces,” a project designed to help start a conversation about the region’s history, identity, and culture that helps to develop a community-based exhibit at the Branigan Cultural Center.

The Museum of Art is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Saturday. For information, visit the City’s Museum System website or call 575/541-2137.
