“We work extremely hard to improve and expand our more than 100 parks covering more than 700 acres in Las Cruces,” said City Manager Stuart C. Ed. “We are also being creative in how we develop our parks, such as the multi-purposing of tennis/pickle ball courts as demonstrated at Apodaca Park. The City is always looking for external sources to improve our parks; winning that $20,000 grant would help us to improve our quality of place,” Ed said.

“Parks play a significant role in Las Cruces,” said Parks & Recreation Director Sonya Delgado. “They provide the perfect backdrop for our social, emotional and physical wellness. From splash pads to dog parks, we are committed to having the best parks possible!”
