Exploring Line Art Workshop will be June 20 at the Las Cruces Museum of Art 2018

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, in addition to viewing the exhibition “Here and Now,” the public is invited to participate in the “Exploring Line Art Workshop” at the Las Cruces Museum of Art, 491 N. Main St.

One of the fundamental elements of art – the line, will be examined. People can learn how artists use lines to convey movement and mood and they should be prepared to create an abstract line art piece of their own. All materials will be provided.

Through the summer, the Las Cruces Museum of Art is open until 8 p.m. every Wednesday. Each week, visitors are invited to visit the City’s museums to explore the exhibitions and get involved in special evening programs.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesdays, and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays. For information, visit the City museums website or call 575/541-2137.
