Rivers and Waterways Presentation at MoNaS will be Feb. 3, 2018

Water is a critical requirement of life, especially in the desert. Find out what makes a healthy river and how water marks our landscape at“Saturday Family Science,” from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Saturday, February 3 at the Museum of Nature and Science, 411 N. Main Street.

During the one-hour session, families will work together to study how rivers move and channels are formed. Participants can predict streamflow in mock watersheds, create maps, and observe how healthy rivers provide a healthy environment.

Admission is free to the Museum of Nature and Science. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. every Saturday.
