Sound Editing Workshop at Library Maker Space 2018

Learn the basics of sound editing from 3– 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, at the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library maker space. The workshop is open to teens ages 12 to 18 and will cover sound editing software such as Logic Pro X and Apple Loops. Teens do not need a library card and can stop by any time between 3 and 5 to participate in the workshop. To register for the event, call 575/528-4102, email, or stop by the library.

The maker space is a collaborative classroom for creativity and innovation and offers programs ranging from guitar lessons to photography and video editing. “We want all teens to feel welcome in the maker space,” said Margaret Neill, library administrator. “This sound editing workshop is a great opportunity for any teen wanting to make their own song.”

Thomas Branigan Memorial Library is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 575/528-400 or visit the library’s website #lclibrary #CityOfCrosses
