City of Las Cruces Unveils Interactive Art Map 2018

Art is everywhere in the city and there is now a way to take a virtual tour. The City of Las Cruces is proud to announce the newly-created Art on City Property map where anyone can take an interactive tour of the City’s murals, statues and other public artwork with a click of a button. With more than 50 different artworks to see, the map has locations, descriptions, photos and names of the artists. The map can be accessed at

“This is one more way we’re connecting people to the City of Las Cruces and creating a more meaningful experience for them,” said Parks & Recreation Director Sonya Delgado. “The importance of public visual art in city spaces is critical to a thriving community and it’s available for everyone to experience.”

The City recognizes that quality of life is enhanced by support of a community’s art and cultural resources. The City Council established the City Art Board in 2013 and approved a resolution in 2015 establishing the Art Board’s strategic plan to provide support for the community’s artists.
