Patriot Day Ceremony 2017

The City of Las Cruces Patriot Day Ceremony will begin at 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at Veterans Park (2651 Roadrunner Parkway).

The ceremony commemorates the 16th year of remembrance of the terrorist attacks against the United States.

This year’s event will include a flag raising ceremony, the laying of the wreath, three volley salute, bell ceremony, and honor guard.

The ceremony will also include remarks from Mayor Ken Miyagishima, City Manager Stuart Ed, Police Chief Jaime Montoya and Fire Chief Eric Enriquez.

This event is free and open to the public.
