Transit Advisory Board Members Sought 2017
The Las Cruces Area Transit Advisory Board is seeking two representatives. One representative would be a business community representative and the other would be a disabled community representative.
The purpose of the Transit Advisory Board (TAB) is to review the operations of the Transit program and make recommendations to the Transit administrator for system improvements. The board also serves as a resource group on Transit issues and encourages support and use of the Transit system.
The seven-member TAB has regular meetings at 7 p.m. the third Thursday of January, April, July, and October. The meetings are open to the public. TAB members are appointed by the mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.
