LOTTERY RESULTS - Summer 2018

​​The “Summer Fun” program is a seasonal program for youth held at three locations, Camino Real Middle School, Picacho Middle School, and Zia Middle School.

Activities may include arts and crafts, games, sports, field trips, and special activities. Youth must currently be attending or have completed grades Kindergarten - 6 of the current school year. Program hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. during the summer months.

Specialty Camps will be offered to youth at varies times during the summer months. These camps may offer the following components: soccer, baseball/softball, tumbling/cheer, volleyball, or basketball. They will teach basic skills, cooperation, team building, and promoting self-confidence.


2018 Summer Program Lottery Registration

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will be accepting lottery registration applications for both sessions of the Summer Recreation Program beginning Monday, April 16, thru Saturday, April 28, at the following locations during regular business hours:

  • Parks and Recreation Administrative Office - 1501 E. Hadley Ave
  • Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center - 304 Bell St. Mesilla Park
  • Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center - 1401 E. Hadley Ave
  • Meerscheidt Recreation Center - 1600 E Hadley Ave

Registration for the Summer Recreation Program is determined by lottery selection only. Participants who are selected for a site will be notified on Tuesday, May 8, by email or text message and postings of the winning lottery numbers will be available at the sites listed above and on our website, www.las-cruces.org/summer-recreation.

Payment must be received between Tuesday, May 8 thru Saturday, May 19, at any of the locations listed above during regular business hours or online at www.las-cruces.org/play and click on the online registration link.

Any slots that have not been paid for will be open to the public on Monday, May 21, on a first come, first served basis at the Parks and Recreation Administrative office, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.

DATES: Session I June 4 - June 29
Session II July 2 - August 3 (No program July 4)
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
COST: $200/session/child
(does NOT include fees associated with field trips)
GRADES: Kindergarten - 6th (2017/18 school year)

Zia Middle School (1300 W. University Ave)
