View Ordinance 2856
Recreational Vehicle (RV) owners must obtain a free permit to park their RVs on residential streets. The permits must be obtained within eight (8) hours of parking the vehicle. Parking on the street is limited to six (6) consecutive days, with a maximum of 18 days in a 90-day period within a calendar year. The RV must be parked at the address listed on the permit and the RV must be moved for 24 hours between permit periods.
A recreational vehicle is defined as a vehicle with a camping body that has its own motive power, is affixed to or is drawn by another vehicle and includes motor homes, travel trailers and truck campers.
The ordinance changed to clarify the ordinance and make it more enforceable. It went into effect on September 1, 2018.
