ASCMV does not offer public pet vaccinations.

ASCMV does offer micro-chip services,we offer Affordable Spay or Neuter services. We provide Pet Licenses for City and County residents and we provide a rabies vaccination at a small fee for any animal that is undergoing spay/neuter surgery; or if the owner cannot provide proof of recent rabies vaccination.

ASCMV does not offer veterinarian services to the public. If your personal pet appears to be ill, please take it to a local vet.

*ASCMV will see sick or potentially ill foster pets and foster-to-adopt pets after 3pm.

ASCMV is not Animal Control. For loose or stray animals, please call 526-0795; option 6.

Adoption side opens M-F Noon-6pm and Sat/Sun Noon-5pm.

Adoption fees are as follows:

DOGS-$75.00

CATS-$50.00

*All adopters must fill out a pre adoption questioner form and sign an adoption contract; as well as have a Drivers license.

ASCMV offers low cost Spay/neuter services for residents of Dona Ana County.

Please call ASCMV and ask for the Spay/Neuter Coordinator at 382-0018 to make an appointment. No walk-in's.

Spay/Neuter services for dogs are $35.00

Spay/Neuter services for cats are $25.00

Additional Services:

Rabies $10.00

Microchip: $10.00

City/County Licenses: $7.00

ASCMV takes in over 12,000 animals annually, approximately 40+ animals a week from all over Las Cruces and the entire Dona Ana County area!

If your pet is micro-chipped and registered in your name; and it is turned in to us, we will make several attempts to reach the registered microchip owner. Please fill out a 'missing' animal report and email it to ascmv@las-cruces.org

We are at Pet-Co on Lohman every Saturday 10 AM-3 PM

North end of Farmers Market on Main every Saturday 8:30 AM-1:00 PM

Inside the Center for Spiritual Living 575 N Main with cats and rabbits every Saturday; 9 am-noon

Due to safety and health reasons; children under the age of 10 are not allowed inside the kennels.

All children under the age of 18 must be with a parent, guardian, or sponsor who also volunteers with them the duration of the volunteer services.

All volunteers must fill out, sign and date one volunteer application per volunteer and turn the application into the Volunteer Coordinator.

Volunteer hours are 8-10 am daily and noon-5 pm M-F and Noon-4 PM Sat/ Sun

*Court ordered community Service hour volunteers must contact 382-0018 and ask for the Kennel Supervisor for further instruction

Please bring the found pet into ASCMV between 8am and 6pm M-F and /or/ 8AM-5PM Sat/Sun.

Our staff will scan for a microchip to determine if the animal is a stray or personal pet.

If you have found a pet, please fill out a 'found' pet report and email it to ASCMV@LAS-CRUCES.ORG

You can also list the found pet on a volunteer run Facebook page called Lost Pets of Las Cruces
