2012 Las Cruces Great American Cleanup
The Great American Cleanup is the spring all City cleanup, beautification and community improvement program. Millions of residents across the country are taking part in this springtime campaign to clean up and beautify communities all across America. Locally, the Great American Cleanup™ is sponsored by Keep Las Cruces Beautiful in partnership with Keep America

sponsors.
2011 Las Cruces Great American Cleanup The 2011 Las Cruces GAC had 1,297 volunteers who invested 3,700 hours to:
- Collect 34,905 pounds of trash and litter
- Mural painted by Juvenile Citation Program volunteers on Montana Street
- Mural painted by Girl Scout Troop 427 in a City flood control area off Chestnut Street
- School cleanups
- Graffiti abatement
- Planted flowers at Heske Garden Park
