Great American Cleanup
The Las Cruces Great American Cleanup is the City's spring all city cleanup and beautification event. Great American Cleanup (GAC) is the nation's largest community improvement program sponsored by Keep America Beautiful and its affiliates. GAC takes place annually from March 1 through May 31, involving an estimated 3.9 million volunteers and participants. The hardworking volunteers donated more than 5.7 million hours in 2010 to clean, beautify and improve more than 33,700 communities.
Toss No Mas
Toss No Mas, formerly Trek for Trash, is the City's annual all City fall cleanup and beautification project. Toss No Mas is a statewide event organized by New Mexico Clean and Beautiful. The Las Cruces 2011 Toss No Mas event was Saturday, October 15.
Community Cleanups
KLCB frequently works with schools, community organizations, businesses, families and individuals interested in organizing a community cleanup. KLCB will provide, trash bags, gloves and pickup tools for volunteer cleanups. KLCB will also provide cleanup sites on City rights of way and arrange for pickup of collected litter.
