Apodaca Blueprint Project 2017

The public is invited to access a new website dedicated to the City of Las Cruces’ recently initiated Apodaca Blueprint neighborhood planning effort. Interested residents, property owners, and business owners are invited to learn more about the Apodaca Blueprint planning initiative by accessing the website at: The website will serve as the clearinghouse for all project announcements, online surveys, documents, and news.

The Apodaca Blueprint was initiated by City Council Resolution 18-032 on Sept. 18, 2017. The planning effort is designed to promote neighborhood vitality and investment to the east and southeast of Apodaca Park. The plan will recommend “neighborhood conservation” strategies intended to maintain or improve the condition of property and quality of life within Apodaca-area neighborhoods as new development opportunities influence the area.
