Branigan Library Wednesday Happenings 2017

A new monthly program for adults called “4th Wednesday Happenings” will be held at Branigan Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave., the fourth Wednesday of every month at 2 p.m. in the Roadrunner Room. Join in for this exciting new lineup of free monthly programs!

The kick-off program will be Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, with “Vintage Hat Styles of the 30s and 40s.” The 1930s and 40s are known in history for the Great Depression and rationing in World War II, but that didn't deter women from designing and wearing some of the most significant hats of history! Join us for an hour of hats from these two eras and explore how they lifted spirits for a nation in turmoil. Time will be allotted to try on hats and take photographs.
