Zoning Administrator

"Zoning is the basic means of land use
control employed by local governments in the United States
today. Zoning divides the community into districts (zones) and
imposes different land use controls on each district, specifying
the allowed uses of land and buildings, the intensity or density
of such uses, and the bulk of buildings on the land" (Eric
Damian Kelly, "Zoning," in So, Frank S. et.al., eds. The
Practice of Local Government Planning. 2nd ed., Washington DC:
International City Management Association, 1981, 251.)
The Community Development Department
