Permit & Inspections Home

The Community Development Department's Permitting and Inspection Section offers the following services to assist you in obtaining valuable information about the permit, construction and inspection process. For further assistance, please call (575) 528-3222.

Permit Application: An Adobe PDF file that can be printed and filled in to obtain a permit.

Permit and Inspection Fees: A fee schedule outlining all fees and services related to permits and inspections.

Inspection Process: A description of the types of inspections that are conducted for a particular type of construction and the responsibilities of the permittee.

Inspection Services: Lists of inspections that are required for all permitted projects.

Certificate of Occupancy or Completion: How to obtain a certificate of occupancy or completion, finalizing the construction project.
