The Community Development Department's Mechanical/Plumbing Inspection Section offers the following services to assist you in obtaining valuable information about the permit, construction and inspection process. For further assistance, please call (575) 528-3222.

Permit Application: An Adobe PDF file that can be printed and filled in to obtain a permit.

Permit and Inspection Fees: A fee schedule outlining all fees and services related to permit and inspection services.

Inspection Process: A description of the types of inspections that are conducted for a particular type of construction and the responsibilities of the permittee.

Mechanical/Plumbing Inspections: A list of inspections that are required for mechanical and plumbing projects.

Certificate of Occupancy or Completion: How to obtain a certificate of occupancy or completion, finalizing the construction project.
