Neighborhood Services - Reports

The following reports are developed by the Neighborhood Services Section:  Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER), City of Las Cruces Consolidated Plan and Action Plan.

As part of the application and receipt process for the use of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), the City must produce a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for each Program Year.  The CAPER must be produced at the start of each year (June 30) and is due to HUD on September 28 of each year. The CAPER is intended to summarize and communicate the accomplishment and activities undertaken by the City and our partners to meet the goals and strategies set out in the City’s Consolidated Plan and Action Plan.

As part of the application and receipt process for the use of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), the City must produce a Consolidated Plan for a period of three to five years.  Additionally, the City must complete a yearly Action Plan for each Program Year within the current Consolidated Plan.  The Action Plan is a yearly portion of the  Consolidated Plan that identifies the specific activities and projects to be undertaken with CDBG and HOME funding during the applicable Program Year (July 1 through June 30).
