The purpose of the Home Rehabilitation Program is to assist families with low- and moderate-incomes in rehabilitating their homes.  This is done by enabling families to secure a low interest mortgage loan or grant, which may not be available to them otherwise.  Owner-occupants are eligible provided they live within the City of Las Cruces, are in violation with the City of Las Cruces building code and/or Housing Quality Standards, and meet a certain income level as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

To determine if you are eligible, please provide us with the following information: Name, address, phone number, estimated yearly income, number of people in your household. If you meet certain income guidelines and live within the City, you will be put on the waiting list.  For more information, please contact a Home Rehabilitation Coordinator.
