Home Occupation Business

A Home Occupation permit is necessary if a business is located in your home.  The purpose of a home occupation permit is to allow home occupations that are compatible with the neighborhood in which they are located while protecting residential areas from negative impacts.  The Home Occupation Permit process allows residents to use of their homes as a place for income and livelihood but establishes criteria and standards for conducting business in a residential area.
