What's New

Business Registrations has moved to the Economic Development Office at 250 South Downtown Mall. This change is effective May 14th. Contact Vicki Montes at 575-541-2287 or vickim@las-cruces.org.

A neighborhood meeting was held on Monday, April 7th to solicit input on a DRAFT Plan for the Alameda-Depot Neighborhood (2MB). A 30-day public comment period is closed on May 7th. We are now in the process of revising the draft based on comments received. A second neighborhood meeting will be held in the summer. Please contact Carol McCall (528-3209) with any questions or comments you may have.

On March 19th, 2008, the Community Development Department made several presentations to City Council during a worksession on growth management, which are available for download as a PDF. The first was on current development processes (<1MB), and the second was on smart growth (11MB).
