    A class for the absolute beginner. It will introduce students to the parts of the computer, the Windows environment and mouse skills. Students will learn the components of Windows-based programs. Registration is not required; however, class size is limited. The first 9 students will be guaranteed a computer. Students may bring their own laptops if space is available.

    Dr Noel Pugach, will be bringing his informed and entertaining Chautauqua performance “Harry S Truman” to Las Cruces, New Mexico on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 2:00PM, at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Avenue. Dr Pugach is Professor Emeritus of History at the University of New Mexico. He specializes in U.S. Foreign Relations, with an emphasis on U.S.-China relations in the 20th century.

    Come meet new friends and librarians, relax after school, and game to your heart's content! We have Xbox One, PS3, tons of great card and board games, LEGOs and art supplies if you'd like to get creative. Game night is intended for teens in grades 5 - 12 (ages 10 - 18). All video games are rated E (for everyone) through T (for Teens).
