    Dig up the past and become a junior paleontologist! Take a walk through the Age of Dinosaurs and discover which creatures roamed the earth during the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous Periods. Go back even further in time to explore the Permian Trackways just outside Las Cruces and meet the local paleontologists who study them.

  1. Tai Chi Chuan

    Tai Chi Chuan is taught as a form comprised of a series of slow movements flowing from one to the next. Tai Chi was created to improve health, meditation and self-defense. The movements are done slowly and calmly. The emphasis is on relaxation, correct posture, and the efficient use of muscles. Studies have shown that Tai Chi can help lower blood pressure, and improve balance, coordination, and flexibility. It teaches stress management and basic self-defense and conflict management skills.

    The Las Cruces Utilities Internship is a competitive program open to students wishing to, or who are currently, pursuing an Associate Degree in Water Technology leading to a career in Water and Wastewater operations. The deadline to apply for this Internship has been extended until June 21, 2019 at 5:00 pm. This internship pays for tuition and various other reasonable education-related expenses including a bi-weekly stipend and paid on-the-job training to assist with educational and living expenses.
