Holiday Drop in Craft Workshops

Simple crafts suitable for holiday gift giving. Instruction and materials supplied, $5 per project. Participants select one project to complete: Painted Tin Ornaments, Tissue Paper Flowers, or Papel Picado.

Cemetery Tours for 2008


Every other month meet with staff from Branigan Cultural Center to tour cemeteries in the Mesilla Valley.  Participants will find familiar names of those whose legacy embodies the origins of Las Cruces and Mesilla Valley.  Allow for 2 hour walking tour, little or no seating, over often uneven terrain.  Program starts at 10:00 a.m. at the designated cemetery.  There is no fee to participate.  Contact 541-2219

Traditional Crafts of New Mexico
Summer Workshop Series 2009

In this series of mini-workshops, participants will have hands on instruction in various traditional crafts found historically in Las Cruces and New Mexico.

Geared towards family participation adults and youth are encouraged to enroll together. Ages 8 and above Class size is limited. Registration begins May 4, 2009.
