Welcome to Las Cruces Notification System
The City of Las Cruces has implemented a new information notification service for residents. The free online service is called “Las Cruces Notification System.”
This service allows residents to be notified of emergencies and other important information by land line, cell phone, email and text messages.
To fully benefit from Las Cruces Notification System, you are asked to register for one or both of the services provided.
ALERT messages constitute emergencies only such as active shooter, hazardous material situations and severe weather. If you are listed in the white pages of the phone directory, you will automatically receive ALERT notifications by a phone call on your land line.
ADVISORY messages constitute messages such as road closures, water main breaks and zoning issues in your neighborhood, etc. If you wish to receive AVDISORY messages and ALERT messages by cell phone, email and/or text message please provide the needed information in the ALERT/ADVISORY sign up form.
PUBLIC MEETING NOTICES - COMMUNITY MESSAGES
You may also choose to receive PUBLIC MEETING NOTICES and/or COMMUNITY MESSAGES. Examples include City Council meetings and work sessions, public hearings and messages from the mayor and City Council and informational publications. These are email messages and phone calls only.
