City Attorney:
The City Attorney’s clients are the City Council, the City Manager, and all City Departments.

The City Attorney is not permitted to give legal advice to citizens, but may discuss Municipal Code, City Council agenda items or other City-related questions.

City Clerk:
The City Clerk is a link between the citizens of Las Cruces and the City Council by managing the Las Cruces Municipal Code, compiling agendas, and providing notice of council meetings.

The City Clerk’s Office provides applicable public access to City records including ordinances and resolutions, contracts, City Council agendas, and the minutes of City Council meetings.
