[ARCHIVED] “Saturday Family Science – Hearts” at the Museum of Nature & Science

Bring your curiosity to the Museum of Nature & Science, 411 N. Main St., for a hands-on investigation that involves the whole family at “Saturday Family Science – Hearts,” presented by the Museum of Nature & Science from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020. Admission to the museum and the program are free, and no registration is required.

Learn about the anatomy of the heart through hands-on dissection of a real sheep heart. Pull on the heart strings, explore valves, veins, and arteries, and learn about blood flow.

The Museum of Nature & Science is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The museum is accessible on RoadRUNNER Transit Route 1, Stop 36. For information, visit the Museum of Nature & Science website at:, or call 575/522-3120.
