[ARCHIVED] Nature & Science Discovery PreK Classes at the Museum of Nature & Science

The Museum of Nature & Science, 411 N. Main St., presents “Nature and Science Discovery Pre-K – Junior Paleontologists,” at 9 a.m. every Thursday in February. Entry to the museum and its programs are free, and no registration is required.

Preschool children and their families are invited to explore numbers, letters, and dinosaurs through hands-on explorations, arts and crafts, and story time. 

Topics in February for the Discovery PreK program include:

February 6 – D is for Dinosaur.

February 13 – Carnivore Dinosaurs. 

February 20 – Herbivore Dinosaurs.

February 27 – Excavation.

The Museum of Nature & Science is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4:30pm Saturday. The museum is accessible on RoadRUNNER Transit Route, 1 Stop 2. For information, visit the Museum of Nature & Science website at:, or call 575/522-3120.
