[ARCHIVED] Del Monte Street Shoulder Work Begins January 21

Lane Closure with barrels

As part of a fiber optics project along the Del Monte Street corridor, Del Monte Street will have shoulder work between Palomas Avenue and east May Avenue beginning Tuesday Jan. 21, 2020 and continuing through January 22.

Crews will work only from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. leaving the evening free of construction activity. The temporary shoulder work will not go into effect until after the morning rush hour and will be removed before the afternoon rush hour.

Access to surrounding residences will be maintained by leaving driveways accessible.

The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in that immediate area during this time.
