Volunteer Network

Ordinary People, Doing Extraordinary Things!

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some, it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others, it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging and rewarding.

The Volunteer Network is the City of Las Cruces’ volunteer resource providing more than 350 volunteers to 39 volunteer sites at cultural sites, city services, senior program and city departments throughout Las Cruces.

If you’re an individual or a group seeking volunteer opportunities and ways to connect to your community, you’ve come to the right place. Please complete our Application for Volunteer Service and we will help you to find the right volunteering role for you

Our Volunteers

The Volunteer Network works with volunteers of all ages. Though the majority of our volunteers are over 18, we have several opportunities for volunteers younger than 18. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have parental permission and either serve with their parents or as part of a group sponsored by a school or community organization.
