The Senior Programs Advisory Board (SPAB) consists of seven members appointed by the mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council, and site members selected by Senior Programs participants as a representative of each senior program site and appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. The duties of the SPAB include reviewing business and operation of the City's senior centers, assisting staff in review and development of policies and procedures, and recommending regulations to City Council when the need arises. The Board is also the final say on any code of conduct violations or grievances of seniors that are brought before its members.
