Community Outreach
Outreach can be defined as reaching out to others or becoming involved in a community or effort. The Codes Enforcement department participates in outreach to our community in many different ways such as:
- Animal Bite Prevention
- Bike Rodeos (Bicycle Safety and Awareness Courses)
- Libby Visits
- Pet Care
- Poison Control Information
- Senior Assistance with Yard Maintenance
Our goal is to keep our community safe and healthy.
-
Animal Control
Animal Control Officers enforce such ordinances as the restraint of animals (leash laws), rabies vaccinations, pet licenses, nuisance (barking), care and maintenance and all other ordinances under the municipal code.
-
Bike Rodeos
August 2016, we received all new equipment to conduct our bicycle safety programs (Bike Rodeos).
-
